Did somebody say "pleated midi"?

Yes those two are my weaknesses and combined they win me over in the matter of seconds. I am THAT weak!

ASOS has some awesome midi skirt options and as I was flicking through the sale section for millionth time (cause what if there was something I missed!!) I lingered at a black pleated midi.

It is a nice basic and I bought it.. but no, I did not stop at that. The same skirt also came in a perfect bright coral and well.. long story short.. here it is ( Link ):

This is what I wore to work the day after ASOS package arrived. Top and shoes are both Massimo Dutti.

And well one must high five after a successful ASOS purchase right?

The problem is my lusting for various midis has not died down yet. Next victims on ASOS could be this colorblock beauty or this pleated lace number.. or maybe I try to behave and at least wait til my Topshop structured midi arrives.

  1. Gorgeous Laura, you are rocking that midi. I'm afraid of midi skirts - I always feel that they make me look too big in the hips! xx

  4. Ohh I love this skirt! Would you mind if I ask you how tall are you? I am so tempted to buy one of midi pleated skirts from asos, but am afraid it would look kind of funny on me since i am not very tall:) I'm asking you because it think it suits you great! And such an amazing colour! :) Thanks for your answer, Nina

    1. Hi Nina!

Thanks so much:) I am 1.68m tall. There are a few different midi lengths in Asos thou. Some are a little bit shorter but the pleated ones are my favorite. They some the same skirt in some amazing colors right now. How tall are you?

  5. Thanks for your answer Laura! I'm 1.64m...I am kind of worried about midi lenghts because I don't want them to "cut" my legs in the wrong places if you know what I mean:) Pleated midi skirts are my fav too, they look so feminine! But the problem is because I finde the pleated nes from Asos are a tad bit longer...I think I would prefer mine just below the knees. Btw I saw the beige leather skirt you mentioned in the recent post is on sale at the moment! ;)

    1. omg I rushed to ASOS site right away. 170euro is still soo expensive..I mean its real leather but its not like a jacket thats versatile. Im not sure if I should order even thou I love it so much. Thanks for letting me know!

And I know exactly what you mean about the midi and cutting the leg. I always wear heels with the pleated midi cause I feel otherwise my legs look stumpy. If you are even a bit shorter than me this length might not work I agree. I will keep my eyes open and let you know if I see a bit shorter pleated midi anywhere.
